Moisture has rapidly re-entered our area, supporting widespread cloud cover and occasional passing sprinkles, with a few more better-sustained showers lining coastal areas. Most spots of rain have diminished as they moved north into interior locations. Passing light showers and drizzle are likely through the late-night time frame without a major change in temperatures. Overnight lows will drop a few degrees into the lower 50s. We’ll see a temporary break in the showers at times Friday with continued cloudiness. Any breaks of sun will allow warming, but highs will end up hovering in the 60s to around 70°. A stronger cold front approaches Saturday, carrying higher rain chances and potential heavy rain along with it, with a partial clearing trend to follow on Sunday.
