MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Excess cloud cover had delayed afternoon warming and reduced sunshine. Expect cloudiness to prevail in the area for the next couple of days. However, higher chances of showers and thunder will accompany the Friday and Saturday periods of overcast. A couple of upper-level low-pressure systems will create a rainier scenario starting later tomorrow and persisting off and on through mid-afternoon Saturday. The second area of low pressure will help drive a drying trend into the region by Sunday, but not before depositing roughly an inch of rain in some sections. Tonight, lows will fall into the milder mid and upper 50s, and highs rise into the middle 70s before clouds and rain take over.
