MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Warm and moist southerly winds will continue through this evening with scattered clouds becoming more numerous overnight.  Lows will only drop into the 60s, a good 15 degrees above average in some cases.  Before sunrise, a line of rain and embedded stronger storms will approach the area from west to east.  Gusts of 50 mph may occur in some of the strongest parts of the line, which may trigger severe thunderstorm concerns between 6 a.m. and midday Friday.  Storms are forecast to weaken as they move east into the I-75 corridor and the eastern Big Bend.  The Storm Team will keep you advised of evolving weather conditions Friday morning.  Highs will rise to the lower 70s Friday.  Slight cooling will follow the passage of the cold front, but the front may meander just off to the south to keep periods of clouds and showers present in the weekend forecast.
