Now that the winter weather mess is departing, we’re experiencing a gradual clearing and warming trend, which will accelerate Friday. High pressure will be centered to our northeast, allowing more of an easterly flow for the end of the work week and allowing temperatures to keep climbing. We are heading above average over the weekend, with temperatures we haven’t experienced in over a month. Before we get there, we have one more chilly night ahead with lows falling to around 30°. Clouds may linger in eastern counties, holding readings up a bit. More of us will have sunshine tomorrow, and highs will reach the 60s as a result. Mid and upper 70s return early next week with warmer high pressure building, but a cold front will try to approach on Sunday, spreading clouds and some rain chances our way.
