Storm Team Thursday evening forecast (04/25/2013)

Posted

The weak cold front is squeezing out a few showers around the middle and lower Suwannee River valley and leaving broken cloudiness elsewhere.  A dry air source is trying to shove in from the north, and, as winds become more northwest and northerly this evening, the dryness should be able to clear out the sky, especially away from the coast.  The dryness will also allow temperatures to fall deep into the 50s overnight, especially in areas void of cloud cover.  For Friday, a good deal of sunshine for most areas with highs rising back into the 80s with low humidity overall.  Over the upcoming weekend, a low-pressure system approaching the Southeast will cast a few extra clouds around the region, but the higher rain chances won't arrive until Sunday and beyond.
