Areas of overcast will linger across the area this evening … but as the cold front producing these clouds (and a few isolated showers) moves east, winds will increase from the north, and drier air will help to eliminate extra cloudiness overnight. The breeze will also draw in a colder air mass for Friday through Saturday morning, so it may feel a little wintry despite the increased amount of sunshine tomorrow. By sunrise, lows will reach the mid and upper 40s. Highs will struggle to reach 70° by afternoon. Winds will quickly transition to easterly by Saturday, which will allow a milder trend for the rest of the weekend, and perhaps scattered clouds and a stray shower for eastern areas through early next week.
