High pressure remains as the dominant weather feature in our region, keeping conditions stable and seasonable. After several days of sunshine, we’re experiencing warmer afternoon temperatures, and that trend will stretch into the next couple of days to come. Lows have also risen from earlier cold levels. Tonight, readings will decline after sunset to minimum temps around the lower 50s in most places. The sky will remain clear. Sunshine will be widespread again Tuesday with limited passing clouds. Highs will reach the upper 70s and lower 80s. Winds by midweek will come in off the Gulf, leading to more moisture and scattered clouds. A front approaches by Friday with rain chances increasing … but the action should avoid your Halloween Thursday plans.
