MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Mild temperatures have ruled the region today, with a few 80° readings being reported. A couple of weather features will break the warm spell around midweek, with increasing clouds starting late Tuesday as a weakening low moves eastward through the Gulf, and then a stronger northern cold front sweeping through our area Wednesday. Both systems will renew rain chances, primarily focused on Wednesday and mainly light to moderate with only a few storms possible. Lows tonight will fall to around 50° with patchy fog forming. Highs again will rise into the 70s and reach 80° or above in some eastern counties. Breezy, cooler conditions will follow Wednesday’s front, with a frosty Thursday morning in the forecast.
