MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The latest wave of low pressure is swinging through the northern Gulf region, producing occasional waves of showers and rain and adding to the already soggy nature of the region after the damp weekend.

The low will move to the east-northeast early Tuesday morning, and its passage will eventually reduce the rain coverage by sunrise, with just a few leftover showers in eastern counties near the Suwannee River.

Scattered clouds will further break Tuesday afternoon, leading to increasing sunshine.

Temperatures will be near or just shy of seasonable levels, with lows near 50° and highs tomorrow climbing to near 70°.  A drier stretch of days will last through the rest of the week with a modest warming trend and only patchy passing clouds.
