An upper low off the Georgia coast is helping in the heating process this afternoon, with many interior areas climbing above 90 degrees. That is warm enough to trigger pop-up showers in a few parts of south Georgia, with a tendency of these showers to drift south through the early evening. There's a small chance for a couple of stronger storms with wind gusts, with overall severe potential remains limited. Tuesday, we may have a greater focus for showers and storms in eastern areas, propelled by the east-coast seabreeze and the existing upper low. We'll still have considerable warmth, with lows tonight in the middle 60s and highs tomorrow in the lower 90s. A few more areas of rain and storms are possible by midweek as a modest cold front approaches from the northwest.
