A nearby cold front has produced a few showers in central and western counties, but most areas should not experience excessive rainfall or otherwise active weather. If anything, we’ll see the number of showers lower quite a bit as the current front slows, then begins a retreat back to the north Tuesday. Cloudiness will remain in place, as will enough moisture to form another round of fog in the morning which may become locally thick and dense. Lows will be mild in the 60° range. A few breaks of sun will emerge from the leftover cloud cover Tuesday with highs rising into the 70s, perhaps close to 80° in spots that get more sun. A slightly stronger front will reach us Wednesday with occasional showers and a couple of storms possible, then a brief cool-down for the remainder of the work and school week. There could be another more-significant front by Sunday.
