The weekend cold front was modest ... certainly not carrying major colder air, but the drier air has made a huge difference in rain chances, and impacting morning temperatures in inland areas. Some middle 60s were reported in interior south Georgia, but all locations have warmed into the upper 80s and lower 90s. The lack of moisture and the northeast wind have limited shower development to the Atlantic coast, where only isolated showers may be carried into north Florida east of I-75 through mid-evening. Overnight lows will drop again to the mid 60s north to lower 70s coast with a mainly clear sky. Partly cloudy conditions return Tuesday afternoon with highs around 90 degrees, and again, isolated showers will be confined to eastern locations.
