Storm Team Monday evening forecast (03/03/2014)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Mostly cloudy conditions will prevail this evening, with only a few spots of showers possible.  Rain is less likely toward the coast, but more probable in south Georgia with a think line of rain that may briefly produce a downpour.  A cold front will drag itself slowly through the region overnight, allowing temperatures to fall into the 40s for lows.  Limited clearing in the morning will transition back to general cloudiness for most of Tuesday as the front lingers just south of the area.  Highs will be capped in the 50s to around 60° thanks for a lack of sunshine and an overall northerly wind.  Rain chances will increase Wednesday with a second wave of low pressure riding along the front, then finally shoving the front well to the south on Thursday to allow for increasing sunshine and slightly cooler-than-average temperatures.
