A minor disturbance has triggered spots of generally light showers, moving eastward and leaving areas of cloud cover in their wake. The nighttime hours may have a couple of leftover sprinkles and showers, but no major downpours or storms are anticipated. The moisture has returned, allowing maybe a few more showers late tonight through tomorrow as a second weak low traverses from west to east tomorrow. Lows tonight will be between 65° and 70° in most locations, with highs rising into the middle 80s with breaks of sun Tuesday. An upper high will build by midweek, reducing rain chances ... but a tropical moisture plume will slide into the Gulf by late week, increasing rain chances in general. The system will need to be monitored for further organization.
