Storm Team Monday evening forecast (04/15/2013)

Posted

The next few days will feature higher levels of moisture and warmer-than-average temperatures, with high pressure aloft positioning itself over the eastern Gulf of Mexico.  Our winds will be mainly east to southeast, carry just enough moisture to give us scattered clouds during the day and some patchy fog at night.  Lows will be mild in the low to middle 60s, with highs Tuesday rising into the middle 80s.  Some interior areas may reach the upper 80s, while the coastline will hover around 80 degrees with an onshore wind.  An isolated shower is possible, but limited development is forecast.  This pattern will be constant until late-week, when a front will produce a chance for thunderstorms.
