MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
An area of higher air pressure over the Gulf region will strengthen and slowly move eastward. This feature will keep our regional weather rather stable, with cool mornings and warmer afternoons. Gulf moisture will only slowly increase through the end of the week, and rain chances will remain absent in the near-term outlook. Tonight, a mostly clear sky and lack of wind will help temperatures fall well into the 40s. Full, strong sunshine will give us a round of upper 70s and lower 80s for maximum readings Tuesday afternoon. Only limited cloud cover is possible. Morning lows will become milder as the week progresses, and eventually enough moisture will be present to provide scattered clouds by Friday, but higher rain chances hold off until the weekend when a cold front approaches.
