There's a considerable amount of dry air in the atmosphere, helping to keep a limit on afternoon and evening shower quantity and strength. There's also a modest disturbance over the Deep South, allowing for just enough of a spark to let off a few isolated spots of showers, rain, and brief thunder, originating in interior south Georgia and moving southwest. Any areas of showers are not expected to become incredibly strong, and most activity will end by midnight. Overnight, few clouds will be around as low fall to around 70 degrees. Tuesday, abundant morning sun will give way to scattered clouds in the afternoon and a stray shower or storm with highs mostly in the lower 90s.
