The current high pressure system that provided today’s sunshine will move east overnight. As winds become more southwesterly, Tuesday will feature a break from the cooler temperatures as highs will finally break 70 degrees following seasonable morning lows in the 40s. Another cold front will be moving across the Mid-South and we will experience effects by Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening as more clouds and breezes enter our area. We have a 30% chance of rain late Tuesday into Wednesday morning, with an isolated thunderstorm possible. After the frontal passage, the sun will come out again and hang around for the remainder of the week up to Saturday. The temperature highs for Wednesday and Thursday will be chilly again with highs in the lower 60s and the low temperatures in the 30s and 40s. By the weekend, temperatures begin to be more seasonal with highs in the lower 70s and the overnight temperatures in the 40s.
