Storm Team Monday evening forecast (02/10/2014)

Posted

Scattered clouds this evening will gradually increase and thicken over the next 12 to 24 hours in advance of a low-pressure system that will raise rain chances bit by bit tomorrow, peaking Wednesday with periods of heavy rain possible.  The northern side of the system will create winter weather hassles for middle and north Georgia, but no wintry precipitation is forecast here.  There may be occasional downpours Wednesday, with a slight chance for a few thunderstorms in the southeast Big Bend and north-central Florida.  We’ll dry out and cool down for Thursday and Friday, with dry conditions likely to stretch into the weekend.

Tonight, lows will fall to the upper 40s to around 50°, and tomorrow’s highs climb back into the mid and upper 60s.
