There’s an obvious chill in the air, which will set us up for another frosty night ahead. High pressure over the Gulf Coast region will create very still, calm air, and ideal chances for extra cooling overnight. This will create areas of frost in open fields Tuesday morning, and air temperatures that will likely fall into the low and mid 30s. A few areas will hover around freezing for perhaps a few hours. Gorgeous sunshine continues for Tuesday afternoon as temperatures warm into the seasonable middle 60s. Another front will arrive Wednesday morning to stretch the cool trend for one more day before high pressure develops over the peninsula and promotes rapid warming by the end of the week. A sneak peek at the weekend shows increasing rain chances once again.
