A stationary front over the coastal zones of the Big Bend is helping to maintain areas of cloudiness around the region, with a few passing showers accompanying the cloud cover. The front will remain basically in place through tonight and most of Tuesday, keeping clear breaks very limited and shower chances present through the next 24 hours. Some occasional downpours are possible near the coast and in southeastern parts of the Big Bend Tuesday. Morning lows will hover in the lower 70s, and highs will be stuck in the 80s with only a few breaks of sun expected. Higher-than-usual rain chances remain through midweek before a drier air mass enters by Thursday.
