Storm Team Monday evening forecast (02/17/2014)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The region will undergo a warming and moistening trend through most of this week which will put a temporary break to the chilly wintry mornings and give us a taste of spring conditions.  Morning lows tonight will fall to around 50° with patchy dense fog forming.  Tuesday, partial cloudiness will be common with highs rising into the middle 70s.  A cold front will attempt to approach the region, casting a few more clouds and an isolated shower around, but blocking high pressure to the southeast will prevent the front from making a clean sweep through the area.  As a result, extended warming into the 70s will take place each afternoon this week, and mornings will be mild and foggy.  Our next best chance for thunderstorms will come with a stronger front Friday and linger into the weekend.
