Storm Team Friday evening forecast (03/15/2013)

Posted

High pressure keeps the sky clear this evening, but its current position in the central Gulf will no longer create drastically colder mornings.  Winds have shifted from the west and southwest, which is a warmer flow.  Eventually, we'll tap into moisture from the Gulf, which will lead to a few scattered clouds heading into the weekend; Saturday will remain mostly sunny, but partly cloudy trends are foreseen for St. Patrick's Day Sunday.  A frontal system will approach by Monday, enhancing rain chances.  In the meantime, it'll stay dry with lows tonight in the low to mid 40s and highs tomorrow in the range of 73 degrees at the coast to 80 in some eastern interior areas.
