Storm Team Friday evening forecast (05/03/2013)

Posted

Spotty showers will still be encountered through the course of the evening, overnight hours, and the first half of Saturday before a cold front swings through the region from the west later tomorrow.  The front will introduce cooling and drying for us, but it won’t completely sweep cloudiness away.  The front is being propelled by another upper-level disturbance which will wander over the Southeast for another couple of days.  It will scattered patches of clouds across the area Sunday and Monday, and perhaps squeeze out a brief, passing shower.  Temperatures will fall below average with lows tonight around 60° and highs tomorrow trying to climb to the lower 70s.  More breaks of sun are possible Sunday; we may have 40s for lows Sunday morning before a slight temperature rebound through the middle of next week.
