Winter warmth will stretch into the weekend and into the first part of next week as an upper-level high-pressure system reaches its peak strength off the Florida east coast this weekend, suppressing rain chances and creating extra opportunity for warm temperatures. Many locations will start off with areas of fog Saturday morning, which should dissipate later in the morning and allow a sun-and-cloud mix to be present in the sky. Slightly drier air aloft may reduce some of the persistent cloudiness we had lately, also aiding in the warm-up. Lows will be in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees tonight, then temps rebound to near 80 for most areas away from the immediate coast. Sunday will be very similar to Saturday. Some cooling is foreseen by the middle of next week as the high weakens and allows a cold front to approach.
