Storm Team Friday evening forecast (01/31/2014)

Our region has been quickly moistening and warming, even though the temperature increase was stalled a bit by lingering morning clouds.  Areas of clear sky will eventually lead back to developing low clouds and fog for early Saturday morning with lows only falling to the lower 50s in most cases.  The fog may be slow to dissipate, but more breaks of sun amid leftover pockets of clouds will allow warming into the lower 70s by afternoon.  Weak impulses may trigger a brief shower, but coverage will be scarce and intensity generally light.  A warm upper high near the Bahamas will prevent the next front from sweeping through the area, but the boundary may be capable of producing isolated to scattered showers for the early part of next week.
