Storm Team Friday evening forecast (11/08/2013)

Posted

The latest high-pressure system is scooting through the Deep South this evening, providing the local area with a clear sky, dry air, and cooler conditions.  The breezes from earlier will slack off a bit later tonight … but the wind has been transporting the colder air into the region, and we’ll feel it tonight with lows falling into the mid and lower 40s away from the coast.  Upper-level thin clouds will filter out the sun at times Saturday, but it will still be adequately bright and mainly pleasant for outdoor activities.  Highs will be warmer than today, in the middle 70s.  East winds will continue the warmer trend for early next week.  There’s more evidence of significant cooling by Wednesday of next week.  Rain chances will be near zero for most of the extended forecast period.
