Storm Team Friday evening forecast (03/07/2014)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Persistent cloudiness will finally give way to a mass of drier air flowing in from the north.  Current breezes will relax, becoming light to calm with less cloud cover and more chill.  Overnight lows will fall to around 35° inland to lower 40s at the coast.  The colder-than-average trend will not last into Saturday afternoon, as full sunshine and a light west to southwest wind will support a rapid rise in temperatures into the lower 70s.  High pressure will linger through Sunday, with an ongoing warming trend and more sun than clouds during the day.  An upper disturbance will lurk in the western Gulf for the early part of the week, but local impacts likely won’t be experienced until late Tuesday at the earliest.
