A cold front is advancing southward through the Deep South. It is capable of producing a few spots of showers or storms, particularly in south Georgia, through the course of the late-afternoon and nighttime hours. Rain coverage will remain somewhat limited because of a lack of moisture. Pockets of cloud cover will linger overnight through a good portion of Saturday with an isolated shower or two and lows in the lower 70s. Partly cloudy to partly sunny conditions are forecast for Saturday, and, with the front in the region, we may see a slight uptick in daytime shower and storm activity. Highs will reach the lower 90s, and rain coverage will climb to 40%. Sunday will be slightly drier in northern parts of the region, with a few showers or storms still possible in north Florida.
