Excess cloudiness will linger through this evening and a heavy portion of Saturday, thanks to a minor disturbance in the Gulf and an active upper-level flow interacting with increasing moisture levels. Heavy rain is not expected this evening, but any showers will likely be light with a few spritzes of drizzle. Overall accumulations area-wide should remain less than half an inch through tomorrow. The moistening process will likely cause any showers Saturday or Sunday with be slightly heavier, but coverage should be scattered at worst as the disturbance departs. A cold front Monday will cause a peak in rain and thunderstorm chances before drying and cooling resume. Lows tonight will be around 60° and highs Saturday will reach the 70s if more breaks of sun are achieved.
