Dryness is clinging onto the region this evening, as scattered puffy clouds attempt to thin out after sunset. Minimal shower chances exist near the coast, but the vast majority of the area should escape tonight without a downpour. Mild conditions will persist through late tonight, then lows will reach the upper 60s to around 70 degrees by sunrise Saturday. Cloudiness will increase in the morning, thickening by afternoon into areas of overcast as moisture clashes with an advancing cold front, producing showers and rain moving in from the west through Saturday. Highs will stay in the 80s, with a few eastern locations getting close to 90 degrees with slightly more sunshine. Sunday, a mostly cloudy sky will be present with occasional rain and a few storms. Some periods of heavy rain may cause accumulations of near two inches. Widespread severe weather is not anticipated.
