The transition to a more summer-like pattern is nearing completion. With the high-pressure ridge all week, we haven’t seen showers or storms forming with the daytime heating and the seabreeze. We should gain those features of scattered late-day shower and storm activity Saturday and Sunday. Lows tonight will fall to the low to mid 60s with areas of fog developing around sunrise. With a sun-and-cloud mix in the sky, highs will reach the upper 80s to around 90° away from the coast. A disturbance near the mid-South may create wind boundaries that may clash with the local seabreezes and form spotty rain and thunder. Coverage of rain shouldn’t exceed 30% Saturday through the middle of next week. Temperatures will still be near or slightly above seasonable levels.
