MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Forecast Center ...
After sunset, scattered clouds will roll in from the west, ahead of a fast-moving but relatively minor cold front. Overnight, cloudy periods are likely with passing showers at times. The progressive nature of this system should allow rainy spots to exit the area by sunrise or shortly thereafter, leading to a clearing trend for the rest of the morning and full sunshine for the afternoon. Northerly breezes will cause temperatures to fall from today’s levels, with highs only in the lower 60s. Morning lows will be in the 40s before the clouds and rain arrives. Sunday may start chilly with temps around freezing before a rapid warm-up in the afternoon that will extend into next week, as upper high pressure becomes anchored to our east and prevents cold surges for a few days.
