Persistent high pressure will still be with us this weekend, though in a slightly different position to eventually give us a slight increase in Gulf moisture and warmer temperatures. Some thin clouds aloft may stream through, casting a little bit of a milky appearance on the sky, but rain will remain absent from the weekend weather picture. We’ll have lows falling into the 40s tonight, with fewer upper 30s limited to the interior or north Florida. Freezes and widespread frost won’t be a concern tonight. Mild readings will reach the low and mid 70s for highs Saturday with a mix of sun and filtering clouds. More scattered cloudiness is forecast by Sunday with mild highs continuing. The high finally departs by Monday, allowing the approach of a frontal system from the west which will produce rain chances, especially on Tuesday.
