Not only is it Super Bowl Sunday, but it is also Groundhog day! And according to America's favorite, furry, forecaster there are six more weeks of winter.
Despite overcast skies this morning in Punxsutawney, Phil the groundhog saw his shadow at 7:25 am. A fun fact about groundhog day is that organizers of the event say that the odds of Phil seeing his shadow were actually quite good. The groundhog has seen his shadow 100 times out of the past 118.
While winter is apparently here to stay, north Florida and south Georgia will enjoy temperatures in the 70s for the next few days.
