TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse nurtured the youngest of minds at Tallahassee's Springwood Elementary Thursday afternoon.
In his latest "Cas in the Class" presentation, the Pre-K and Kindergartnen groups concluded their recent in-class lessons in weather with the visit from an actual meteorologist to emphasize points already learned in class.
The students were also exposed to various instruments used to gather weather data, computers and their use in forecasting, and insight into a meteorology career through the words of the classic book "I Want to Be a Weatherman."
