TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse made his rounds to two separate classrooms on National Weatherperson's Day Monday.
His first stop was to participate in the 29th annual African American Read-In at Springwood Elementary School in Tallahassee, reading a Liberian tale to first-graders.
He then traveled to Childcare Network #116 on Raymond Diehl Road as part of the school's recognition of National Weatherperson's Day, providing a group of about 30 children lessons on weather words and cloud formations, and a basic understanding of the water cycle.
