TAMPA BAY, FL (ABC / WTXL) - 11 people have been taken to the hospital with minor injuries in Tampa, after a lightning strike in the parking lot near the Buccaneers stadium Sunday afternoon. According to a spokesman, it doesn't appear anyone was directly hit by the lightning.
However, the lightning strike kicked up rocks and gravel and knocked a few people down.
By the time EMS arrived, four people had already driven themselves to the hospital, and another seven had been taken by ambulance.
