MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A new disturbance in the open Atlantic has captured the attention of the National Hurricane Center. It is located several hundred miles SW of the Cape Verde Islands.
This disturbance is expected to travel west across the Atlantic waters through the week. For the next two days, development chances are near 0% due to unfavorable atmospheric conditions like dry air and wind shear. However, within the next five days, the system has a 20% chance of development.
