TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We're still monitoring a tropical wave in the open Atlantic. At this hour it has a low chance of forming into a tropical cyclone over the next two days, but over the next five days, it has a 30% chance of becoming at least a tropical depression. If it were to form into a named system, it'd be called "Cristobal." This wave has some dry air and Saharan dust to contend with before possibly strengthening, but we'll keep our eyes on it as it moves towards the Lesser Antilles.
