Most of the Atlantic Basin is quiet and devoid of tropical development. The only area of tropical activity is an area of low pressure containing the remnants of what used to be tropical storm Dorian. The cluster of thunderstorms does not look very organized and on Tuesday, it will continue westward to be impacted by some drier air. The National Hurricane center has given the system a 50% chance of further development in the next 48 hours. It does not appear to be a threat to the United States, and the ABC 27 Storm Team will monitor the situation to see whether any changes in the forecast will occur.
