TALLAHASSEE (WTXL)- As we start to get towards the back end of hurricane season, there is not currently much to watch in the tropics. The Atlantic basin is quiet with no signs of any tropical formation in the next few days. The Pacific is still active with Polo. Polo has just been downgraded to a tropical depression and is expected to turn westward into the open Pacific and not impact land. It is predicted to continue to weaken as a low-level ridge positioned to its northwest forces it westwards and eventually southwest.
