MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Two areas of concern are being monitored by the National Hurricane Center for potential development. One is the remnant of Tropical Storm Harvey and another is the persistent tropical wave being deemed as "Invest 92L".

The disturbance that was once Harvey, has an 80% chance of redevelopment as it travels west/northwest, approaching Belize and the Yucatan Peninsula. This doesn't appear to have a direct threat to the U.S. but it will be closely watched.

Invest 92L is a disturbance that has a 40% chance of organizing in the next five days as it approaches the Bahamas and Florida. It will likely bring heavy rains to the peninsula in the next few days. As for direct threats of an actual tropical cyclone, it doesn't appear likely in the next two days.

You can catch the forecast on ABC 27 News starting at 5:00 each morning, as well as ABC 27 News at Noon. Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse has your forecast at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, and 11:00 this evening.
