TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - As we move along through August, our eyes stay locked on the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) off the African coastline where systems flare up and push off the coastline. A system there has a 30% chance of formation over the next five days. Elsewhere, all is quiet and there's no other places in the Atlantic basin that have a chance of forming into a tropical system.
