MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Hurricane Matthew is now a Post-Tropical Storm (No longer a tropical cyclone). The threats to the U.S. are now gone from the storm, though clean-up efforts will be lengthy due to the far reaching impacts of the hurricane.
Tropical Storm Nicole, however, continues to live on after meandering north of the Caribbean Sea for the last several days. The front that is carrying Matthew to the northeast will likely do the same for Nicole. The issue with the forecast track is that the front may take an intensifying Nicole straight toward Bermuda, so they might see conditions deteriorate later this week. Nicole may be a Category 2 storm with winds of 100 mph by then.
No other threats exist in the Atlantic.
