Your Monday starts with a few showers skirting the coast with a solid mixture of clouds and clear skies everywhere else. When it comes to rain, that’s all we’ll see today as dry air and a dome of high pressure takes control of the region. Scattered clouds will still be with us into the afternoon helping to keep highs seasonable, in the low 60s. Tuesday, high pressure takes control at all levels of the atmosphere helping to turn off the rain machine and drive highs into the low 70s. The ridge of high pressure will be centered just to our north and east, giving our winds an easterly pull. What it means for you, the wind will drag in some Atlantic moisture which may serve to spark a shower or two but nothing huge. Overnight lows this week may be a bit muggy for some; they’ll be in the low and middle 50s.
Be safe and have a great Monday!
