MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The leftovers of Tropical Storm Harvey are expected to reach Belize and the Yucatan Peninsula, moving to the west-northwest and likely entering the southwestern Gulf of Mexico by midweek. The system, if it further organizes in that region, has a higher chance to return to tropical depression or storm status.
A disturbance nearing the Bahamas has lost much of its form and moisture source, but it is capable of spreading moisture across the Florida Peninsula Tuesday. Development of this system into a depression is unlikely to occur.
Aside from minor disturbances scattered in the southern latitudes of the North Atlantic, no new tropical depressions are likely to form in the next few days.
