MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) --  One disturbance in the eastern North Atlantic, a few hundred miles southwest of the Azores islands, has modest chances to become a better-organized subtropical system over the next couple of days.  Some influences of cooler air may hinder development into a true tropical cyclone, but upper-level winds may be light enough to allow some slight strengthening.  The system will stay far from the United States mainland.

Other ragged disturbances elsewhere in the Atlantic basin do not exhibit signs of further intensification so far this week.
