MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) --   A stretched-out wave of moisture in the western Caribbean is forecast to undergo slight organization through this week, with a medium chance to become a tropical depression during this time frame.

Long-range projections show the system being forced to move north, then northeast, ahead of a potent cold front, ejecting the system toward the western Atlantic.  While impacts from the system may be experienced in Cuba, the Bahamas, and the Greater Antilles, chances of it entering the Gulf region are extremely low.

Other than this, there are no other points of concern elsewhere in the tropical Atlantic basin.
