MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Danielle is set to make landfall later Monday along the Gulf coast of Mexico, with peak winds around 45 mph. While the system will create heavy rain in portions of east-central Mexico, there will be no direct impacts from the storm anywhere in the United States.
A few other clusters of moisture exist in various parts of the Atlantic basin, including the Florida Straits and in the eastern Caribbean. The Straits moisture is generated by faster upper-level winds. There are no obvious sources of development potential from any of these disturbances.
The chances to have additional tropical cyclone development in the next few days is quite low.
